Egypt manager Hossam Hassan has announced his final squad for the 2025 AFCON, set to be held in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.

The list includes the full roster previously announced for the December training camp, with no further changes made ahead of the tournament.

Notable Returns

Midfielder Imam Ashour makes his return to the Pharaohs squad for the first time since June 2024. He was previously excluded by a technical decision and then sidelined due to injury. Also returning are Mostafa Fathi and Ahmed Eid, both of whom missed the last camp due to fitness issues.

On the other hand, several recent call-ups did not make the final cut. These include Ahmed Nabil “Kouka”, Nabil Emad, and Taher Mohamed Taher. Additionally, Mohamed Abdelmonem of Nice misses out due to ongoing rehabilitation from an ACL injury.
